  • How do meal plans work?
    It's simple! Once you create a plan, you can choose up to three recipes per week. We'll send you your weekly meal package at the beginning of the next week. Inside each box, you'll find your week's ingredients and recipe cards. If you don’t select up to three recipes by Wednesday at noon, your meal plan will automatically go on hold and you will not be charged until the next week.
  • How often do meal plan recipes change?
    Every week, we offer 16 new meal plan recipes for you to choose from, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. We also have a collection of individual meal kits for our customer-favorite recipes that we update every month. You can always expect something new!
  • Why should I get a meal plan?
    Save money per serving and get pre-chosen and delivered meal kits weekly without hassle!
  • How do I set up a meal plan?
    Visit our “Plans” page under the “Get Cooking” menu tab to get started. Choose from our three meal plan sizes (Single, Two-Person, Family), create an account, and browse through our weekly recipes. When you're ready, select your three recipes for the week and complete checkout—then you've officially ordered your first meal plan!
  • Can I cancel my meal plan anytime?
    As long as you cancel your meal plan five days before the next shipment date, you're all good!
  • How do I cancel my meal plan?
    You can cancel your meal plan under "Account Settings," but why would you want to?
  • Do I need an account to purchase individual food or meal kits?
    Nope! Our market and individual meal kits are open to all online customers, both account holders and guest users. Accounts are only necessary to purchase a meal plan subscription.
  • Where does FlavorBox deliver to?
    FlavorBox currently provides delivery services for the city of Glendale and select areas in Burbank, California. We are always striving to increase our geographic delivery area, so check back if we currently don't deliver to your area. You can enter your ZIP code on our Location page to check if we deliver to you.
  • When do my groceries and meal kits ship to me?
    For a meal plan, your weekly meal kits and recipes will be delivered at the beginning of each week, approximately 5 days after the last day to choose your recipes (Wednesday). For individual meal kits and market groceries, you can expect delivery within 3-5 business days with standard shipping. An additional shipping fee will be charged for 1-2 day express shipping.
  • How will my ingredients and recipes be delivered?
    All groceries and ingredients are packed in proper sealed containers to maintain freshness and prevent spills. They will be delivered in a standard delivery package box with a padded insulated layer inside. Our insulation package ensures that your food stays fresh for at least 12 hours after it is delivered. Meal kits also include thorough recipe cards with tips and advice for cooking your best. Visit our About page to see what part of a sample recipe card looks like!
  • What if I'm not home when my food gets delivered?
    Our delivery hours are from 10 AM to 5 PM PST. If you know you won't be available during these times, you can leave a note with your order for instructions on where to place your package. If no instructions are left, your package will be redelivered the next day.
  • What happens if my delivery order is inaccurate?
    Let us know through our Contact page, and we'll fix your order as soon as possible.
